Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you sign in with Google we receive the following information from Google:

• Name — your Google display name
• Email address — your Google account email
• Profile picture — your Google profile photo URL
• Google account ID — a unique identifier from Google

We do not receive your Google password, contacts, calendar, Gmail messages or any other Google data. We only request the minimum scopes necessary (openid, email, profile).

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account on QUANTSCASE
• To display your name and profile picture inside the application
• To authenticate you on return visits (session management)
• To send product-related communications if you opt in

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data storage and security

Your account data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS in the Asia-Pacific region). Supabase is SOC 2 Type II certified and encrypts data at rest and in transit.

Authentication sessions are managed via secure, HTTP-only cookies with short expiry windows. We use HTTPS on all pages.

We use cookies strictly for authentication (session cookies set by Supabase) and anonymous analytics (Google Analytics). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; however, disabling session cookies will prevent you from signing in.

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
